Improvisational Ritual Theatre
Lola Tarot weaves together improvisational theatre, music and dance with Tarot card readings, creating uniquely interactive one-of-a-kind performances. Audience members ask questions, and through the use of various Tarot card spreads, watch these rituals come to life. This ensemble of actors, dancers, and musicians includes former members of The Living Tarot. This show is appropriate for all ages.

About the Show
Audience members ask questions and pull Tarot cards. Musicians then build an improvisational soundscape against which the ensemble of actors bring this amazing oracle to life. What is produced is a show unlike anything that you have ever seen.
Employing the 22 Major Arcana Cards of the Tarot deck, Lola Tarot presents these larger-than-life universal energies. These cards, also known as "The Greater Secrets" and "The Trumps," contain strong prototypal symbols and meanings. They are one of the great doorways to the archetypal realm of symbolic images and tools. These archetypes are contents of the collective unconscious that inform us and shape our experiences in the world.
Our intent is to create a space where the audience is able to let their guard down; a place where our humanness is shown, not masked; a place where people can find connection to the divine within themselves and witness it in those around them; a place where the full spectrum of life is embraced.
Lola Tarot is open to co-creating with communities large and small, in a variety of venues. We work in theaters, at community events, healing centers, festivals, private parties, schools, and corporate events. There are numerous avenues that we approach with this work. Lola Tarot is poignantly heartfelt and lovingly honest in its ability to entertain and heal.
